Attorney Kevin Young
Kevin Young’s practice is primarily focused on litigation in the areas of probate, trusts, guardianship, commercial matters and real estate issues. In addition, a significant amount of his practice is dedicated to the estate planning needs of his clients.
He is an experienced trial attorney and has significant experienced in all stages of litigation including pre-trial procedure, jury trial experience and post-trial appellate procedure.
His thorough determined approach and communication serve his clients well. After working many years as a litigation attorney in the DFW area, he joined the Chenault Law Firm in 2017 to further develop and strengthen the firm’s growing litigation practice.
He has been appointed by the Court to serve in numerous fiduciary roles in complex and contested matters including serving as a Receiver, the Guardian of the Person and Estate and a Court appointed Probate Administrator of Estates. He serves as an Attorney Ad Litem with the Denton County Probate Court.
Kevin Young’s earned his J.D. in 2011 from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in Grand Rapids, MI, and his B.A. in 2007 from Wichita State University in Wichita, KS. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Denton County Bar Association as well as a member of the state and local Real Estate, Probate and Trust sections. He is licensed to practice law in all Texas State Courts as well both the U.S. Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
In his free time, Kevin enjoys spending time with his two sons, camping and fishing and attending his local church.
